CRYSTAL CLEANSING GUIDE
Cleansing your crystal can be a mindful ritual and a way to reconnect with the intentions you set when you first chose your piece. While it's not necessary to enjoy your jewellery, many people find it to be a meaningful part of their personal practice.
Smoke Cleansing
Gently pass your jewellery through the smoke of your preferred incense, sage, or palo santo for a few moments while setting or reconnecting with an intention.
Moonlight
Leave your jewellery in the light of a full moon overnight. This method is especially popular for stones such as Moonstone and Amethyst.
Sunlight
Some people choose to cleanse stones such as Tiger's Eye in sunlight. Leave your jewellery in indirect or gentle morning sunlight for a short period.
Note: Some gemstones can fade with prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, so avoid leaving your jewellery in strong sun for extended periods.
Selenite Bowl or Charging Plate
Selenite is often used as a cleansing stone and is a popular way to refresh other crystals. Simply place your jewellery on a selenite bowl or charging plate overnight.
Caring for Your Jewellery
While some crystals can safely come into contact with water, we recommend avoiding prolonged exposure to water, salt, perfumes, lotions, and harsh cleaning products to help preserve both your gemstone and its setting.
Instead, gently clean your jewellery with a soft polishing cloth whenever needed.
